How to apply to become a ServiceCorps Fellow
Learn About Us & Submit Interest Form
The first step of becoming a ServiceCorps Fellow, before the Fellowship application process, is to learn more about us. We invite potential Fellows to check out our website or to talk to our staff to see if there's an alignment with our values, mission, and fellowship program.
If you are interested in becoming a Fellow, please sign up for our Interest Form. After submitting your Interest Form, you will then be in our system to receive updates that pertain to the application process, key deadlines, and the fellowship.
Online Application
Interested applicants must apply directly to ServiceCorps. In order to apply to ServiceCorps, applicants must satisfy the following prerequisites:
- BA/BS: Hold a bachelor’s degree by the first day of the Leadership-Capital Institute (LCI-1)
- GPA: Graduate with a cumulative GPA of at least 3. 0 on a 4.0 scale
- Work Authorization: Have authorization to work in the US (US citizenship or national/permanent resident status)
If you satisfy the prerequisites, we invite you to apply to become a ServiceCorps Fellow.
Fit Interview
After submitting your Online Application, completed applications will receive a final response within 14 days of submission. At that time a "Fit Interview" will be scheduled.
The final stage of the selection process is the "Fit Interview" which may be conducted in-person or using video technology depending on feasibility (there is no advantage to how the interview is conducted). The interview stage is used to determine if a candidate is a good fit for the ServiceCorps program and with the ServiceCorps community.
Selection To Become A ServiceCorps Fellow
Once a selected applicant accepts the ServiceCorps offer, ServiceCorps will begin to work with the Fellow on Social Sector Partner Matching and Financial Assistance needs.
