Step 1: Apply during your senior year of college
Top college grads apply to enter the highly selective ServiceCorps Fellowship pool through our straight-forward online application. Candidates who advance to the final round will be invited to a "fit" interview.
Step 2: Get matched with top nonprofit and public organizations
At ServiceCorps we believe that nothing is more sustainable than doing what you love. That's why we match our Fellows with organizations and causes that they are most passionate about.
Step 3: World class leadership development, down to earth compensation
ServiceCorps pays Fellows a living allowance and covers 100% of their student loan repayments through our Debt-Zero™ Guarantee.
During their service year, Fellows undergo rigorous training led by leadership development experts. Our Leadership Capital Development Program features the following:
- Leadership Capital Institute: Orientation training program @ Cornell University
- Leadership Capital Trek: International immersion trip
- ServiceCorps OnSight: Regional field studies and trips
- Seminars: Monthly classes
- ServiceCorps Summit: Annual conference & graduation
- Mentorship: Selected mentors
Step 4: Roll up your sleeves for immersive service
ServiceCorps Fellows are placed into full-time roles with our Social Sector Partners. Positions must include a balance of direct (in-the-field) and indirect service. Our impact sectors:

Step 5: Launch a career in the social or private sector, or return to academia
ServiceCorps Fellows have the potential to remain at their placement organization. Many alumni move on to other roles in the social or private sectors. Additionally, alumni may choose to return to higher education to pursue a Masters degree or professional studies, such as, JD, MBA, or medicine.
Step 6: Become a Corps Member
Our Fellowship programs are just the beginning of our Fellows social impact. Our alumni network, The Corps, is the next step of the journey.
