Impact Internship Program
Summer, Semester, Year
We offer summer and semester-long internships:
Summer Internship: Summer interns commit a minimum of 4 days a week for a period of 8-10 weeks. This allows time to explore NYC and/or take a part time job to supplement income. The flexible start date is June 1st.
Semester Internship: Semester interns commit a minimum of 2 days a week for a period of 1-2 semesters.

ServiceCorps is an innovative, quickly scaling non-profit that was founded on the belief that leadership matters. Our mission is to transform top college graduates into socially conscious leaders. We are scaling to build and mobilize a lifelong community of courageous leaders and to advance the movement for opportunity equity. We are empowering emerging leaders to secure and defer their post-college job offers at leading corporations, and to serve for one year at the finest nonprofit and public organizations. As Fellows transition from their service year in the social sector to their career in the private sector, they possess the spark, tools, and network to make a social impact.
DESCRIPTION:
ServiceCorps currently has summer and semester internship positions open in NYC. ServiceCorps is seeking interns who are passionate about advancing our mission. Interns will work closely with the Founder & CEO of ServiceCorps, while maintaining a large degree of autonomy to achieve agreed project objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in entrepreneurship/nonprofits/social enterprise. Interns will develop highly valuable, marketable skills gained from being at the intersection of leading corporations, top college graduates, high-impact nonprofit organizations, and leadership development experts. ServiceCorps is looking for interns in the following areas (as a project based internship, specifics can be tailored to the intern’s interests):
· Operations
· Finance
· Marketing
· Programming
· Fundraising (Development)
QUALIFICATIONS:
We look for a track record of leadership, passion, and commitment. Interns must be comfortable working with a team and independently, be able to manage ambiguity, take initiative, and follow through on commitments. Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Individual Profile: Detail oriented, creative thinker, results driven, persistent, organized, quick study, autonomous, team player.
Builder Mentality: You enjoy building a project from the ground up and contributing to a larger process in a thoughtful and collaborative way. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, participating, and creating long-term structures and processes.
Accountability: At times there will be autonomy in your work; you will be counted on to complete tasks without supervision at all times.
Connectivity: Represent ServiceCorps to the public and act as an ambassador for the organization. Connect ServiceCorps with individuals and organizations who are positioned to advance ServiceCorps.

COMPENSATION:
This is an unpaid internship. However, as a token of our appreciation we will provide the following stipends:
Summer Undergraduate: $500 stipend
Summer Graduate Student: $750 stipend
Semester Undergraduate: $500 stipend/semester
Semester Graduate Student: $750 stipend/semester
